Run Project is more than a series of race events

It is about bringing together those who love to race, those who want to give back and support, and those who want to keep it local. It’s cool, it’s hip, and it is good for the soul. Keeping it local is how we roll. All our community partners are local non-profits or local affiliates of nationwide charities and organizations and all monies raised will stay in the local area.

The first year St. Paddy's Dash Down Greenville 5K

Too Hot to Handle 15K & 5K is created

Too Cold to Hold takes place for the first time ever as a 10-mile and a 5-mile

Melon Dash 5K starts in McKinney for the first time

Both Hotcake Hustle 10K & 5K and the Deck the Trails 3-mile events are established.

The first year we celebrated fathers with the Must-Dash 5K

We created the Skyline Half, TAP and the Bird 5K & 10Ks, the Badass Brazos, and the Pumpkin Spice 15K. It's also our first year to have an event in Waco and in Fort Worth!

Dallas Morning News: Run Project series beefing up events, swag

Saturday’s Hotcake Hustle 5K/10K/Fun Run starts the 2015 Run Project race series. Organizers expanded the local race series to 12 events, established optional race insurance and enhanced the race swag.

“We want to offer races that people want to run,” said race director Mallory Jones-Fiske, who joined the Run Project/Racing Systems team in October after more than a decade with Mellew Productions.

Run Project will feature four half marathons, scheduled approximately eight weeks apart, starting with the Feb. 1 Too Cold to Hold Half Marathon/10K/5K. This winter event featured 15K/5K distances through 2012. The last two years, it offered 5K/5-mile/10-mile courses. ...Read More

  • Our courses are marked 3 different ways, and the lead cyclists are our staff. “Run” assured you never have to worry about being led off the course.
  • We offer plenty of aid stations and supplies! They are stocked with iced water, gatorade, and at distance events, Gu and other sundries.
  • We are your biggest cheerleaders race-day. We make sure the course is dialed-in so you can PR or simply enjoy each of our events.
