Top o’ the mornin’ to ya!
With the $60,000 donated by Run On! and the addition of $1,283 from the Central Market burger/hot dog sales + $245 in general donations, Dash Down Greenville raised $61,528 for the North Texas Food Bank! That’s 184,584 meals for North Texans in need! Thank you to all the runners who supported the event and to all the volunteers for their efforts this year.

The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a nonprofit social benefit organization that distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network of 300 Member Agencies and 1,000 feeding and education programs in 13 North Texas counties. NTFB supports the nutritional needs of children, families and seniors through research, education, advocacy and strategic partnerships. In FY 2011, NTFB provided access to nearly 33 million nutritious meals. Founded in 1982, the year 2012 marks NTFB’s 30th anniversary. NTFB is a member of Feeding America (feedingamerica.org).
