Melon Dash 5K/Fun Run
Looking for a great summer race? The Melon Dash is what you're looking for. Located at and coinciding with the Chestnut Square Farmers Market, this race showcases the charm of McKinney, including its shady historic district streets. Participants will be greeted at the finish with cool towels, sprinklers and refreshments. Our sponsor village will be packed with goodies including live music, food and beer. Participants will have the opportunity to stroll through the Farmers Market at the conclusion of the race. Again this year, the race benefits the North Texas Cat Rescue.

To be eligible for an award, you must wear a timing tag. Top 3 Overall Male & Female. 1st Overall Masters Male & Female .Top 3 Male & Female finishers in the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Your entry fee benefits the North Texas Cat Rescue, who are committed to the humane and compassionate treatment of cats.
